Did you hear that Amanda Jean of
Crazymom Quilts designed her very own line of fabric?
Good Neighbors fabric, available from
Connecting Threads, really fits Amanda Jean's style: bright, saturated colors, polka dots, and simple prints. The line as a whole includes so many prints and colors that it almost feels scrappy, which we all know is her favorite thing. I am delighted to join in the Pincushion Party celebrating the recent release of the fabric.
My pincushion is a mini version of one of my favorite patterns by Amanda Jean, the Bright Birch Trees quilt. You can find
the pattern in her Craftsy shop.
The mix of brights and low volume prints makes it a really versatile line. A charm pack alone can make so many different designs, as you can see by visiting the blogs of the other participants.

Hello Alex, You nailed it...my all time favorite Amanda Jean pattern is the Bright Birch Trees. It's my go to block for any swap or quick quilt or pillows too.
All her tutorials intrigue me, especially anything involving scraps, which we know she is the Queen of. Her most recent on paper piecing was quite the time savr and the Selvage scraps crocheted into a rag rug.
Thanks for sharing your pinnie. It's adorable!
CrazyMom has a lot of really nice tutorials and patterns. My favorite tutorial/pattern of hers is Running In Circles. I am determined to work with curved pieces and this is the pattern I will use when I gain the courage! I love it. I adore your pincushion too!

I recently made a zig zag quilt using Amanda Jean's tutorial. It uses rectangles and the blocks are laid out on point, so there are no triangles! I loved how easy it was to piece! Thanks for the chance to win!
