I loved
the first one so much, and it left me so quickly, I just had to make another tickertape quilt. At 20 x 23 it isn't a lot bigger than the first one I made, but it seemed to take much longer this time around! Still a fun process though. I probably liked it for a lot of the same reasons I enjoy puzzles.
I sewed this one with a linen colored cotton, instead of stark white, and I like how it allowed me to use some cute prints with white or light backgrounds that would have washed out on the other quilt.
As before, I just love how the back looks!

Oooohhh... I love the choice of the background. Makes your colors pop even more. :)
Very cute! I like the color scheme you went with. Very pretty. And, yes, the linen color background lets the snippets shine.

This is so so so pretty!! I love the colors. I've never made one of these, but loved the concept when I first saw it on Amanda Jean's blog. Did you find it difficult to figure out a spot for your scraps? I'd love to give this a shot sometime.
I love the mix of colors in this one. I've been wanting to make one of these (it's on the long list) but I hate puzzles...should I reconsider??? LOL
