Sea Glass Wall Hanging

This wall hanging design has been on my mind for a few months, and earlier this week I finally dug around in my solids to find the right colors.  They remind me of the green and blue pieces of smooth sea glass I collected on the beach as a kid.
I'm excited to be pairing up with Tammy of Marmalade Fabrics to offer you a free tutorial as well as a custom fabric bundle for this wall hanging (21" x 31"). She's selling all the fabrics you need to make this, including backing and binding, and she is generously offering a free bundle to one of you!  Just leave a comment, and I'll choose a winner at random this Saturday evening at 9pm central time.  If you leave me no way to contact you, I'll have to pick another winner (so check your blogger settings!). ***Giveaway now closed, but the bundle is available for sale.
Tammy is a friend from the KCMQG, and my favorite thing about her store, besides the fact I get my fabric next day since she's in town, is that she has 140 different Kona solids!  140!  I hope you'll check out her store and some of the cool bundles she has to offer.
As always, I'd love to see your work if you end up giving the tutorial a whirl!

Nice quilt - Have you seen the Beach Glass quilt on the cover of "Quilts Made Modern" by those pioneers in modern quilting, Ringle and Kerr?
