I am not from the Midwest. The winters here are brutal, in comparison to my southern homeland. Let's just say the gray, bitter cold gets me down. I also have two rambunctious little ones to keep entertained indoors for long periods of time.
So, I'm pretending it's spring.
All cut up and ready to go for, not one, but two different quilts.

Good on you! I can't imagine what it's like to have dreary cold snowy weather and not be able to go outside. It's only the really wet or really hot weather that keeps us inside. It's not too bad normally.
lovely fabrics. here in AZ it's sunny year-round. But we sure pay for it in the summer when it's over 115 deg.
I grew up in Indiana, so I know exactly what you mean! The winter just goes on and on. That's why I moved to Alabama :)
I love the fabrics! SO soft and springy...but I fear if it were me it would make winter drag on even longer to be working with those fabrics right now. Maybe in March :)
I love your choice of fabrics, lovely soft colours. I have a few of those fabrics in my stash.
I too can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to live in bitterly cold conditions, I have been in -30 deg so I have experienced cold, but that was for a holiday, only a temporary situation. Hope the sun comes out for you soon and the days are warmer.
Lovely! These fabrics are so pretty -- and a good antidote to the cold-gray.
Pretty fabrics! Where are you from? And hey, this winter has been mostly very nice compared to last year, don't you think?
I can't wait to see what you are doing with these fabrics. I love the colors. How you get so much done with two little ones is amazing!! Thank goodness for the cold weather. :)
