The light isn't the best on this drizzly day, but I only had a few minutes to take a picture before this got packaged up and sent off to its Christmas recipient. It is a lap sized quilt. I found a vibrant paisley for the binding, and the quilting is done in a random wave pattern which was super fun to do. It has a free motion feeling, but I didn't have to use the free motion foot (which is still a big challenge for me).
I love the quilting on it - and that paisley IS brilliant. What a great find!

ReplyDeleteWow! Those colors really grab you! The white really sets it off nicely. I'm playing with different quilting on my Bernina too. Some days it feels really easy and some days--not so much. I guess it's practice, practice, practice. I'm working on a small kids quilt right now using the regular foot and a little motion. Looks to me like you did great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great colour scheme. The white centres/borders really sets all the string colours off beautifully. The binding paisley pulls it all together. Great job :)
